Thank You For Your Honesty

Not much remarkable about this little post - but I do enjoy this repeat offender's (see post below) admittance that most of his emails are for little more than "club promotions":

Hello to all my clients in friends

Saturday July 18th from 2pm to 6pm at new restaurant XXXXXth street btw 7th and 8th ave JT Talent and Casting will be holding auditions for his new feature film [REDACTED]

well it seems that gabby is a very unhappy actress that cant seem to get chosen for a role!

as far as i have seen most movies out there have roles with nudity. and major actresses and actors have appeared either partially nude or completely nude in roles.

how do you know if this isnt a paid role? you have said nothing here to explain what your experience with this casting company was. i just hate people that spread nagativity for the sake of spreading negativity!

either way i wish you well with your hunt for stardom, and i would recommend like my mother always said that if you have nothing nice to say, then say nothing at all!

you have explained nothing here except put out a casting call, then bashed the people doing it, and then you wonder why you didnt get a role! it doesnt say that all roles require nudity, and if you are against being nude in film, dont be nude!

i much prefer reality, and as i have seen, you havent provided any real feedback on this, just seems from this post that you are bitter about show business, and that you arent getting into the right calls!

good luck people, and remember that positive things happen for positive people!

Gabby is insulted! She never auditioned for this so she never expected to get a role. But thank you for your concern.

Air kisses,

I am the writer / director of the movie " Alive In Ryewood ".I would kindly ask you to remove my synopsis from your site,as it is copyright material. I have no idea what you have with JT talent but I am in pre-production for this movie. And do not like the heading it comes up under. Nudity required no pay. There is no nudity and all actors are paid.Again, asking kindly to remove before legal action is taken.

Dear Anonymous,

This was from an email - verbatim - that was sent to me. I post it as I read it. To be clear: if anyone, including yourself, took the time to READ the ad, you'd see why it was posted here. No, there is no nudity listed. The funny bit is how the sender basically admits that his other "castings" are little more than club promotions. And *that* is the point of this blog - to put on display the many annoying hurdles we actors have to climb over each day that we shouldn't have to.

Now, I don't know if material in a mass email can be copyrighted (and this was copied & pasted – the content is not misconstrued or rearranged), but I do understand that in the age of Google, this may not be a favorable search result. So…

Out of the kindness of my wine-soaked little heart, I will edit the notice for more project anonymity. Hope it helps.

Hugs,
Gabby
