Casting DV film "Smoke & Mirrors." Shooting Sept. 7-21 in Yonkers, NY. "Smoke & Mirrors" is about: With a Bible in one hand and a gun in the other (This sounds awesome already!), an ethics professor and teacher of anger management must decide if he can find love beyond the smoke. Seeking--Smoke: lead, dancer, student, 23-28 (23-28? I sure hope she's a med student...); Detective Williams: principal; Darleen: prostitute, 25-30 (I just KNEW there was going to be a prostitute in this - I just knew it...), principal; Carmen: best friend of Smoke, 20-28, principal; Lonnie: drug dealer, 20-25; Swift: drug dealer, 20-30; Pastor Green: lead, must be motivated preacher type, 25-35; News Caster: father of Smoke, heroin addict, 35-45; Brother Dale: 35-45. (Brother Chip got killed by the family dog and was left on the porch.) Other roles are also available. Visit the website at www.poetwarriors.org.
